• Group (air force unit), an air force formation
• Group (computing), a collection of users or other objects
• Group (Auto Racing)
• Group identifier (Unix), an identifier for sorting access permissions for users and files in the Unix operating system
• Business group, a collection of legally distinct business entities

In chemistry:

• Periodic table group, a column in the periodic table of chemical elements
• Functional group, a functional entity consisting of certain atoms whose presence provides a certain property to a molecule.
