A series is a related set of things that occur one after the other (in a succession) or are otherwise connected one after the other (in a sequence). The specific meaning depends on the context.

In science:

• series (mathematics), the sum of a sequence of terms
• series (botany), named selections of plants and flowers in botany
• series circuit, a way of connecting electrical circuits (see series and parallel circuits#Series circuits)
• seriation, a method of dating objects in archaeology

Also I forgot I mentioned it on V.R but the burnout series has had some amazing soundtracks, burnout 3 bein my fave, and they wer good games

@VeRKK In the interest to being fair to Burnout, that's a quality series that does well with each iteration. Can't say the same for MoH.

I wish there was another Burnout game next year. Too bad we probably won't be seeing one until 2012/2013. Love that series!
