Airport Tycoon is a simulation tycoon computer game, released for Windows 95/98 in 2000. It was developed in the United Kingdom by Krisalis Software (now defunct). In Airport Tycoon, the player must successfully manage an airport, without going bankrupt. There have been two sequels created for Airport Tycoon: Airport Tycoon 2 and Airport Tycoon 3.
Gameplay
The player begins with an empty plot of land, ready for airport development. In the early stages of the game, the player will build his airport, adding terminals, arranging for parking, building runways, and such. This is the most important stage, as the structure of the airport is crucial to its survival. Eventually, as the airport develops, more options become availiable. For example, the player must then negotiate contracts with various companies, such as airlines and taxi companies.
