Beach Spikers (or Beach Spikers Virtua Beach Volleyball) is an arcade-style beach volleyball game for Nintendo GameCube (and originally for arcade machines). The game was published by Sega and developed in-house by Sega-AM2.

Gameplay

The controls are very simple and easy to get used to allowing the player to concentrate on strategy and ways to beat opponents, rather than worrying about how to move get the character to do what they want. Beach Spikers closely follows the format of Sega's other "Virtua" sports title, in that the player can unlock various hidden stages and costumes through success in the various play modes.

Arcade Mode

This is the simple arcade style tournament mode, which consists of an 8-team tournament. This can be played in either Team Play or Match Play mode and in Original or Arcade style.
